Today is July 6th, 2010. It was 93 degrees and I spent the first part of the day promoting jewelry online. My dad picked me around 10 and we went to a bank in Georgia where an arrangement had been made to trade a nugget of pure gold for cash. Then, I went to visit my uncle in the hospital. He is doing better every day after his stroke. Still no spoken words, but full comprehension. He showed a little movement on the left side.
Once we got back to Apison, I started working under the carport taking apart silver filters, the same type work I've been doing for a while now. The shade helps and bringing the right combination of sunglasses and reading glasses helps even more. The water just doesn't say cold very long in heat like this. The bugs and bees come to visit me all throughout the day. Sometimes I catch a dark object moving in the corner of my vision and my first instinct is a slight jump.
I got to thinking about how I only react when I see perceived danger. Those red wasps are there all along. I am sure they are just as curious about me and I am about them. They say "what we don't know, wont hurt us". This is not true. If I don't see them, I don't know they're there. But, the danger is no different. They also say that angels and demons are all around us at all times who can do much more good or harm than any insect. The wasp was used to enlighten me to the unseen dangers. How long have I been seeing without perceiving?
